List of issues for Tribal Consideration with Decisions and Responses through May 29, 2002

In the two and a half years since the National Steering Committee (NSC) completed its work on a draft reauthorization bill, many issues have emerged. Some have been raised by Tribal Leaders and some by the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) bill analysis. Other issues arise because of changes in the law since the NSC completed its draft or because of differences between the bills introduced by the House (HR 1662) and the Senate (S.212).
