Short Abstract:
NCUIH is the only membership-based organization representing the 36 Urban Indian Health Programs across the country. NCUIH devotes itself to the support and development of accessible, quality healthcare programs for all American Indian and Alaska Natives (AI/AN) living in urban communities. We do so by providing technical assistance, educating policymakers and developing leadership in urban Indian communities. NCUIHs position enables coordination and good communication between government agencies and Urban and Tribal Indian Populations.
