There are some resources available to AI/AN communities for human trafficking and more are in development.

Development of an AI/AN Human Trafficking Training Module

The Office of Trafficking in Persons (OTIP) is working with Administration on Native Americans to finalize a module specific to training on human trafficking within Native communities. To engage in training efforts with OTIP, please contact: Francys Crevier, fcrevier@ncuih.org.

Current OTIP Human Trafficking Trainings

SOAR Online is designed to educate health care providers, social workers, public health professionals, and behavioral health professionals on how to identify, treat, and respond appropriately to individuals who are at risk or who have been trafficked. The target audience includes physicians, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, registered nurses, dentists, psychologists, social workers, case managers, school counselors, public health professionals, health education specialists, and allied health professionals. In the meantime, any health care or social service provider can take our free online, accredited trainings on human trafficking.
