Abstract: In April 2025, the National Indian Health Board developed a "Maternal Mortality Review: A Potential Strategy for Optimizing Native Women’s Health" resource highlighting key information on the burden of maternal mortality on Indian Country and the role of tribally-led Maternal Mortality Review Committees (MMRCs).
