Abstract:

Correspondence Supporting UIHP, from Donald Betts Jr. to Senator Pat Roberts

Dear Senator Roberts;

It has come to my attention that president Bush's 2007 budget eliminates $33 million in Title V. funds for urban Indian Health Organizations (UIHOs). The budget message goes on to state that Urban American Indian Citizens can recieve health care from other sources. This may be true, but it is irrelevant.
