Abstract:
It is imperative that Indian health providers educate members of congress about the needs of the Urban Indian health programs. Education and Advocacy are crucial steps to improving health care services for urban Indian Communities. The NCUIH Guide to Advocacy 108th Congress of 2003 asks that members of the National Council of Urban Indian Health take an active role in educating their members of congress.
