Abstract:

The following is a proposed amendment for inclusion in the Health Care Reform Bill and the Indian Health Care Improvement Act to authorize programs at tribal colleges and universities to advance tribal health promotion and disease prevention and expand the Indian public health workforce.

This Act may be cited as the Through Higher Education: Promoting the Advancement of Tribal Health Act of 2009 or THE PATH Act.
