Abstract:

American Indians and Alaska Natives are more likely to have certain health problems than whites. And they are more likely to get sicker and die from them too. Finding and treating these problems early can make a huge difference. Thanks to the Affordable Care Act, most health insurance must cover preventive services for free, which can lead to better health and a longer life.
