Abstract:
Last Monday, the President sent his final budget to the hill. As previously reported, it contained only a $50 million dollar increase for the health centers program. Some HRSA programs received high priority. Proposed is a $100 million increase for the President's Health Access for the Uninsured program. Ryan White programs received a $125 million increase, family planning a $35 million increase, the Ricky Ray hemophilia relief fund, a $25 million increase, and GME payments for children's hospitals, a $40 million increase.
