Short Abstract:
The overall purpose of this agreement is to collaborate in the dissemination of documents, white papers, and other materials held by the University of New Mexico to the organizational and associate members of the National Council of Urban Indian Health through an online, password-protected database. NCUIH and the University of New Mexico agree that the primary goal of the DHHS’ Healthy Indian Country Information (HICI) database is to spearhead the development of culturally specific, evidence-based best practices of American Indians and Alaska Natives.
Abstract:
This Agreement is entered into by the National Council of Urban Indian Health, hereinafter NCUIH, and University of New Mexico, HSLIC Native American Health Information Services hereinafter referred to as UNM/NAHIS, is to delineate the responsibilities and obligation of each organization in the collaboration to create a database of information on health issues facing American Indians and Alaska Natives living in urban centers. This Agreement is a binding collaboration agreement undertaken by the undersigned parties and additional responsibilities, obligations, or performance may only be modified through amendment of this Agreement
